Phoenix, NASCAR + INDYCAR

* Opening Times: Thursday 1:00 p.m. | Friday 11:30 a.m. | Saturday 9:00 a.m. | Sunday 8:00 a.m.

* Location: RE will be located by Gate 3.

* OTA Programming: Scanner owners can use their devices at this event with OTA programming available. For details, see the “OTA Programming” section below. If you have trouble receiving the signal, put your scanner in programming mode and move closer to our location listed above.

NHRA, Gainesville

* Event Info: Gainesville Raceway March 5 - 8, for dragway information click here . For event information and a complete schedule, click here .

* Rentals: Visit Racing Electronics in the vendor midway at the Elite Motorsports/Tony Stewart Racing Trailer to rent at the event!

* Opening Times: RE will be open at 9:00 a.m. each day.

* Location: RE will be located in the vendor midway out of the Elite Motorsports/Tony Stewart Racing Trailer.

* OTA Programming: Scanner owners can use their devices at this event with OTA programming available by the Elite Motorsports/Tony Stewart Racing Trailer. For details, see the “OTA Programming” section below.

INDYCAR
* Event Info: Racing Electronics will not be present at IndyCar series events in 2026, as the series has selected a different radio provider for the season. As a result, Racing Electronics will not have access to driver frequencies or be able to offer over-the-air programming at the track. However, manually programmed scanners will still function at the track. For more details, please refer to the "Manual Programming" section in the user guides below.
* Frequencies: For questions regarding frequencies and how to obtain them, click here and select the event you're going to. Then, under “FAN RESOURCES” click on the "SPOTTER GUIDE" section and either click "DOWNLOAD SPOTTER GUIDE" or find the frequencies listed above your driver's car graphic. Frequencies are typically posted during the week of the event.

TRACKSIDE SERVICES

Pre-ordered rentals purchased through RE’s website or the track may be redeemed on site. Retail products that can be used during race weekend, including scanners, headphones, and accessories, will be available for purchase. Frequency sheets may also be purchased. Please note that only RE4000 and RE3000 scanners will be programmed at the track.

OTA PROGRAMMING

Save time and skip the line by programming your own RE3000 scanner! Over-The-Air (OTA) programming will be available throughout the track at NASCAR Cup Series events and other select race series events. See below for instructions on how to get OTA programming for your device:

RE3000: Turn the scanner ON. Choose the “PROGRAM” option by pressing the

key. Select “Over The Air” by pressing the LEFT key

. Wait until the scanner says “PROGRAMMING COMPLETE”. RE3000 OTA Programming (p. 1)

LEGEND: Open the scanner application. Inside Menu, select Over The Air Update. Then select LAUNCH UPDATE button. LEGEND Scanner will show “Searching For Over The Air Programming” screen and progress. When progress reaches 100%, programming is complete. LEGEND OTA Programming (p. 5)
