Bruce Silver is the founder of RACING ELECTRONICS, the world's largest supplier of 2-way radio communications equipment to the Racing Industry. Even with his 25 years of experience in the racing community, Bruce didn't really catch the TRUE racing bug until he and his family relocated to Davidson, NC. It was then that Bruce was given the chance to get behind the wheel of a Bob Dillner/BDI Racing prepared Legend Car at Lowe's Motor Speedway. And the rest, as they say, is history.
Bruce is now in his 3rd season of competition in the INEX Legends Series, GOLDEN MASTER DIVISION, enjoying every minute. After 2 years being a part of organized race teams, BRUCE SILVER RACING was established. Early in 2009, the team came to life with a new race shop, crew chiefs and the professionalism that RACING ELECTRONICS is known for.
The team has rapidly assembled a fleet of racecars that have enabled him and his son Gregory to compete thru-out the Eastern USA, Midwest and as far west as Las Vegas Motor Speedway where he claimed his first feature victory in 2008 and another in 2009. BRUCE SILVER RACING now has 3 professionally prepared Legend Cars, complete with back-up engines and all the equipment needed to compete at the highest level.
In addition to his busy schedule as President/CEO of RACING ELECTRONICS, and fielding his own race team, Bruce also finds time for his other passion, flying. Bruce is a licensed, IFR Rated Pilot, and has over 3000 hours of flight time, enabling him to travel to each NASCAR Sprint Cup race overseeing his successful communication business.
Bruce resides in Davidson, NC with his wife Glenda their 3 children (Triplets), Gregory, Julie and Lindsey. Bruce also has 2 grown children, Beth and Brad.

It would be almost impossible for Gregory Lang to not have some interest in racing, being the son of Bruce Silver, President/CEO of RACING ELECTRONICS. With no previous racing experience, Gregory steadily progressed from the entry level INEX Bandolaro cars, in the Young Guns division. Gregory competed in the Bandolaro Young Guns for two years learning the basics of racing.
Gregory moved up the INEX Legends Car division as a Semi Pro in January of 2009. Today, Gregory is a respected driver, competing competitively in races with seasoned drives from throughout the country. Gregory's home track is the 1/4 mile track at Concord Speedway in North Carolina. Gregory's racing hasn't been limited to Concord.
